Simple Sardine Vatapá Recipe

Ingredients for making simple sardine Vatapá:
5 units of French bread/carioquinha morning
200 milliliters of coconut milk
1½ milliliters of milk
1 unit of onion
1 unit of ripe tomato
½ unit of red or green pepper
1 unit of sweet pepper
2 cans of oiled sardines
4 chicken broth tablets
50 milliliters of palm oil
chopped coriander
pepper sauce (optional)
salt
How to make simple sardine Vatapá:
To prepare this vatapá, start by moisturizing the breads with coconut milk and regular milk. Let it stand for the next steps.
Finely chop the onion, tomato, pepper and sweet pepper, and cook in a pan with the oil from one of the sardine cans.
When the above ingredients are browned, add the drained sardines and cilantro to taste, mix and cook for 10 minutes.
Break the buns with your hands, and add them to the pan along with the balance tablets. Stir for 20 minutes or until thickened, adding more regular or coconut milk if it gets too thick.
When the simple sardine vatapá has the desired consistency, adjust the flavor with salt and pepper, and finish with the palm oil and, if desired, the pepper sauce. Mix and it's ready to serve. Enjoy your food!
